"I was lead off leg in the 4x100. My plan was to get out, do my job, and put my team in good position from the gun," manifestó AYDEN OWENS a QuePalo.com

"I was not told that I would be in the 4x4 until that day. I had already done long jump, javelin, 110 hurdles, and 4x100 prior. But my thought process was to run for the team and become a Pac 12 champion for the first time. I missed the top of the podium in my other events, so the 4x400 gave me that opportunity," destacó Owens.

"I was surprised when my coach told me about the 45.5 split. It shows that I am in great condition in the 400 heading into nationals," reaccionó Ayden.

"I will not be competing at NCAA regionals in Sacramento next weekend, so my next meet is NCAA Nationals in Texas," apuntó Ayden.
