¿How do you know about Angely?

Coach Meridith -
"I can't remember exactly if Angely reached out to me or if I found out about her on a website. Regardless, I have been in touch with Angely from early on after being appointed the head coach.

Angely sent me video of highlights of various games and competitions that has helped given me an idea of her quality and skills.

First, as we build our program at Indiana University East, I've taken great care in learning as much as possible about her interests, background and family. From this perspective we are getting a great young woman that can help create a wonderful culture".

HVM -
¿What you like the most of Angely skills?

Coach Meridith -
"Some may think it is risky not having seen her play 'til now but there are aspects of her game that become evident when watching her on video. She is very athletic WITH the ball, showing an ability to turn, cut or explode into space while possessing great skill

Also, I believe she is a player that has good vision and can find players making runs in advance of the ball".

HVM -
¿Have you ever seen or heard before about Puerto Rico's women soccer?

Coach Meridith -
"Yes- I've been to Puerto Rico a few times as my wife's uncle -Herb Brown- grew up in Puerto Rico and was a lawyer there for many many years. His wife Nancy was a boutique owner in San Juan as well.

Though your national teams don't have the rich history that the US or some other countries do, you have more and more players going to universities in the States, as well as a league that seems to be well organized and competitive. I'm super excited to watch a practice or two and some games on the weekend!".
