How popular and respected is Women’s Surfing in your state?

» KAYLA DURDEN «

"Women’s surfing is slowly but surely becoming more respected in the US. There are so many good surfers that have come from the east coast (where I live) as well as California. It’s an exciting time to be a female surfer."

Are the money and awards even for women and men in international surfing?

» KAYLA DURDEN «

"This year is the first year with equal pay. The Corona Pro in Puerto Rico was the first event I have ever done with equal pay and it really drew a much larger field for the women. I think it will encourage more girls to compete."
