Shek repasa y proyecta su Programa Nacional FutFem
Enero marca el 10mo mes de Shek Borkowski en Puerto Rico a cargo del programa nacional femenino de la Federación Puertorriqueña de Fútbol.
Aprovechamos el comienzo de su segundo año trabajando en el FutFem en la Isla para detallar los cambios que él ha visto en las jugadoras tras concluido el 2017.
Coach Borkowski ha vivido la evolución del fútbol entre las chicas de las categorías U-15, U-17 y U-20. El nivel de mejoría debe acelerarse ahora en 2018.
“Training is about instilling in players technical / physical / tactical / behavioral values, standards and habits. My main objective in 2017 was the development of a mindset, of a way of thinking about soccer, about developing instantaneous solutions to soccer problems in the most effective and efficient manner”, describió Shek a QuePalo.com
“I am very happy with the progress as I’ve watched the teams grow. ”Our U20s did not do as well as we should have but I believe the next cycle, they will have a very good chance of qualifying for the World Cup", evaluó Borkowski.
Sobre las categorías más jóvenes...
”The U-17s will gain good experience in April (CONCACAF U17 Women's Championship in Nicaragua). They are improving quickly. The U-15s will participate in CONCACAF U15 Girls Championship in August, and I have very high hopes for them. They can finish in the top four”, se propuso el dirigente polaco - estadounidense.
Borkowski guardó para el final su sentir sobre el equipo Superior, las chicas de la categoría Absoluta, la Mayor. Su optimismo lo convence a que éstas tendrán un desempeño competitivo en los próximos clasificatorios regionales de la FIFA.

”In every country the foundation of success is build on vision shared by the national association administration and the coaching staff. I have a good working relationship with Eric Labrador, who shares the vision of what we can achieve, and that has been the key to progress this year”, finiquitó Borkowski
