"Rachel is a very composed player with good experience and will benefit our team. She and Laura Suarez worked very well together", reaccionó a QuePalo.com, Shek Borkowski.

"Now, tell me, in details, how was this experience, getting along, together, and knowing each other, for the first time, with all the 23 girls and coaching staff of the PUR futbol WNT?

>> RACHEL <<

"I did not know what to expect before meeting the girls and the coaching staff. I was a bit nervous because my Spanish is not the greatest, so I was not sure how well I would be able to communicate with them. But it turned out to not be a problem. Most of the girls spoke English and I was able to learn Spanish while I was there, which was awesome!...

But once I got off the plane I was greeted by coach Joe (Talley) and Nené (Zaragoza), After I met them I instantly knew it was going to be a great experience. I flew in late Tuesday night so my first meeting with the girls was Wednesday morning at practice. They were all great, and welcomed me with open arms. The girls and the coaching staff are amazing! I had a great time and was very thankful to have this opportunity".

What was the moment, the situation that you enjoy the must, off all?

>> RACHEL <<

"The thing that I enjoyed the most on this trip was getting to be around a great group of girls and coaching staff who are humble, and who are not afraid to give up their personal style of playing soccer to fit the style that coach wants...

Everyone bought into coach Shek's plan and if we continue to work hard and improve individually, we will collectively be a much better team".

Even this was just friendlies, not official FIFA games, how proud do you feel dressing and competing with that Puerto Rico uniform?

>> RACHEL <<

"To be able to play for Puerto Rico in these friendlies was an honor!!...

It was awesome to see my mom's reaction when I told her about this opportunity because I know it made her proud of me and I want to be able to honor her side of the family by representing Puerto Rico to the best of my ability. I am very thankful for this opportunity and I thank God everyday for blessing me with the talent to play at this level".
