What are your final thoughts about how ready are we, and what should we improve, tactically speaking, for the May Women's Caribbean Cup?

>> SHEK BORKOWSKI, Head Coach TeamPUR <<

"Going forward we will focus on the quality of our technique, passing and movement. We will work on improving team fitness levels and improving over all athleticism".

After coaching the 12 players from the States, what's your impression about their performance, to look forward with them?

>> SHEK <<

"Our eight day College Tour just came to an end. It’s only identification and preparation at the moment...

Long trips, 3 games in 7 days, good athletic opponents, little rest, and many distractions had no negative impact on this group's team spirit. Lots of smiles, fantastic attitude and zero negativity. These players are hungry for success, committed and focused. I believe we are building something very special at all age categories in Puerto Rico...

I used the last six weeks to identify and evaluate players who will help us compete, win and become a top 4 CONCACAF nation at all age categories. We have diamonds in the rough. We will polish them and make them shine".

How can you describe what Maria Luisa Colón has been doing, at Superior WNT level, being only a 15 year's old high school sophomore?

>> SHEK <<

"Maria Luisa is a talent with potential...

One of my former Haiti players has signed a 5-year pro contract with Montpellier in France. Maria Luisa is ahead of that player at 15. But its a very challenging road ahead of her...

The next 2 years will be very big for her and will give good indication of what can she achieve in futbol. She has to remain humble, work hard, and balance her studies with futbol, and free time with friends and family. There is massive expectation on her shoulders, and she will need constant support from her family, friends and coaching staff".
